ABOUT
Kyle Tran is a videographer and photographer dedicated to capturing moments and telling stories through visual media. With over five years of experience, he has worked on a wide range of projects, including sporting events, quinceañeras, and community celebrations.
Kyle earned his Bachelor of Arts in Radio-Television-Film and Bachelor of Science in Public Relations from San José State University and is currently pursuing his MBA in Marketing at DePaul University in Chicago, Illinois.
His passion for visual storytelling began in 2017 as a high school sophomore. By 2018, he expanded into photography, collaborating with athletes and athletic teams. During his junior and senior years, he produced extensive media content for Pitman High School athletics and served as Pitman Football’s Media Director from 2019–2020.
At the collegiate level, Kyle gained experience as a Creative Student Assistant for San José State Football & Athletics and later as a Creative Video Intern for Stanford Athletics. Currently, he serves as a Creative Services Graduate Assistant for DePaul Athletics while also working as a Live Social Contributor for the NHL’s Chicago Blackhawks. Previously, he covered the San Jose Sharks in the same role.
Kyle’s work has also extended to organizations such as Cal Football, Santa Clara Athletics, University of San Francisco Athletics, University of the Pacific Athletics, Notre Dame Athletics, Sporting Kansas City, and Hayden Sargis of Orlando City B
